In this episode, I talk about doing a 24-hour dopamine detox which is a way to reset your mind. Dopamine is a feel-good neurotransmitter in our brain that gives us a sense of pleasure but unfortunately, many of us have become addicted to dopamine.
When you are addicted to dopamine, it is harder to get pleasure from small things and it also leaves you feeling anxious and possibly depressed. Also, it tends to make you procrastinate because you don’t feel like doing hard tasks such as studying.
